Firestar is a jelly like odourless substance made from root vegetables. It is far safer than traditional fuels such as methylated spirit because it is both harder to spill and will only burn at a set rate even if spilt. The 80gms packets are recommended for use with Fondues including Chasseur, simply remove the foil top and place inside the adjustable burner supplied with the Fondue, light with a naked flame and enjoy.
